20 | 11 | 2010 - FPR SCORES ANOTHER WIN AND PODIUM

Ford Performance Racing has had another successful outing, this time at Sandown International Raceway when Paul Dumbrell in his FPR prepared Bottle-O Racing Falcon scored his maiden V8 Supercar win.
FPR's great day was made even better with Orrcon Steel FPR pilot Mark Winterbottom also making it to the podium, coming home in third place.
"Today is the result of a lot of hard work from the whole team," an elated FPR Team Principal Tim Edwards said.
"To have two of our Falcons on the podium is a great achievement - and for PD to take home his first win with us is a great indicator that our cars are in good shape and we're heading in the right direction," he added.
Frosty echoed Edwards' comments saying; "This is a great day for the team … for PD to get his first win is pretty special and to score another podium for myself is always nice," he added.
In an unusual twist, the race was started twice after Garth Tander collided heavily with the wall at turn six on the opening lap causing the race to red-flagged.
Frosty made a great start first time around but on the restart he was jumped by Will Davison who managed to cause the clearly faster Frosty much annoyance as getting back past proved difficult until Frosty had had enough and made an aggressive lunge on lap nine which paid instant dividends.
"I lost quite a bit of time when I was stuck behind Will but once I was past I managed to pull away and chase down the leaders," Frosty said.
"The car didn't feel that good but I was able to make gains on the leaders which is a strange situation to be in … you mightn't feel the car is doing what you want it to but it turns out to be one of the fastest on the track," he said.
"We'll go over a few things tonight and try and sort out the front end … if we can do that we'll be a fair bit quicker," Frosty promised.
Steve Richards in the Dunlop Super Dealer FPR Falcon also had a good day out, coming home in 12th place after starting in 16th.
"Yeah today wasn't too bad," Richo said.
"We're actually struggling with quite a bit of understeer which we can't seem to dial out but in the race everything else went well … we had a good start, good speed, and a good stop," Richo said.
"I had a cracker battle with Todd Kelly which kept things interesting so it was a good race from that perspective … we'll do a bit more work on the car tonight and come back stronger tomorrow," Richo added.
