Ford Performance Racing will conduct its first solo test day of the season on Monday where it will try out a range of new developments on its three main series factory Falcons as well as the Dunlop Series mount of Chaz Mostert.
The Winton test allows the team the opportunity to focus on endurance race specific work while also testing some updates which it has been developing since the start of the season.
Mark Winterbottom, Will Davison and David Reynolds will all be in attendance along with enduro co-drivers Steve Richards, John McIntyre and Dean Canto.
Mostert is also looking forward to his first proper test day with the team following a challenging Townsville event.
“Monday will be my first real test since joining FPR so the day will be really beneficial as it will help me learn a lot of things, try out some new things and also see what the three main game drivers do and how they operate,” Mostert said.
“Testing in out sport is so restricted so any chance to drive the car away from a Dunlop Series round is an opportunity you have to take. We have done so well so far without testing so I am sure this will help us for the next half of the season.”
FPR leads the team points and all three drivers are in the top 10 with Winterbottom second, one place ahead of Davison, while Reynolds is now 10th after two solid hauls of points.
