At next month’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 a number of lucky Pepsi Max Crew fans will have the opportunity to max their view of the iconic Mount Panorama track from the Pepsi Max Crew Skylounge.
Hanging in the sky, up to sixty metres above the ground, the Skylounge will allow the fans to see more of the track and therefore more of the action than ever before.
The Pepsi Max Crew Skylounge put simply is an exclusive seating experience for twenty people, suspended high above the track. Fans will be able to watch the race unfold below them and on multiple TV screens all whilst enjoying an ice cold Pepsi Max.
A first for the V8s, the Pepsi Max Crew Skylounge will be situated at the end of the pit straight by Hell Corner, giving the fans an unrivalled view of the race as Pepsi Max Crew Driver Mark Winterbottom attempts to win the Peter Brock Trophy for the second year running.
Over the course of the four day event there will be approximately 45 ‘flights’ giving almost 900 fans the chance to see the track from a different perspective, one usually reserved for lucky camera operators and helicopter pilots.
Speaking about the Pepsi Max Crew Skylounge Mark ‘Frosty’ Winterbottom commented:
“It’s brilliant that we’re able to do this for our fans, especially at the biggest race of the season. When fans come to a V8 race they want the best possible view of the track and with the Pepsi Max Crew Skylounge they will see more of the track than ever before. I can’t wait to go up and see the view of the track myself”.
When fully elevated the Pepsi Max Crew Skylounge will be as high as:
- 12 Pepsi Max Crew V8 cars laid end to end.
- 500 Pepsi Max cans stacked in a tower.
- 120 Peter Brock Trophies.
- 206 of one of the Pepsi Max Crew Drivers helmets on top of each other.
- 90 V8 wheels stacked on top of each other.
Fans should check out the Pepsi Max Crew Facebook page in the lead up to the race for their chance to win the ultimate V8 experience at this year’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.
