Prodrive Racing (Australia) driver Chaz Mostert’s championship challenge has received additional support with industry-leading superannuation fund MTAA Super increasing its backing of the reigning Bathurst champion’s #6 Pepsi Max Ford.
MTAA Super, already a multi-year partner of the series-leading team, has taken predominant signage on the front and rear windscreen banners of Mostert’s race car for the final six events of the season, starting with the Sandown 500 this weekend.
MTAA Super is the national, industry-based superannuation fund for the motor trades and allied industries.
Mostert is a key ambassador for MTAA Super and as a qualified mechanic he appreciates their support and the work they do assisting people in the automotive industry.
“I am really happy to see MTAA Super taking out increased support of my car and the team for the rest of the season,” the winner of the last race in Sydney said.
“We have worked together in recent years to educate and recruit young people like me into the automotive industry and show them just how many options they have. The additional support will only help us spread that message further.
“We are also having a successful season and heading into the Enduro Cup I am aiming for more wins so hopefully we can share in that together.”
MTAA Super Chief Executive Officer, Leeanne Turner, said “Chaz has been a great ambassador for our brand for several years now and we see what we’ve achieved through him, Prodrive Racing and our V8 Supercars involvement as critical to our business strategy.”
“Prodrive Racing is highly-successful on track and the team regularly engages with our member base across the country. “
“We wish Chaz all the very best for the rest of the season as he battles for a repeat win at Bathurst and his maiden championship success.”
MTAA Super’s support comes in the same week Prodrive Racing announced additional backing for championship leader Mark Winterbottom who will enjoy support from air-conditioning manufacturer, ActronAir for the remainder of the 2015 season.
