NAVY HEALTH TO GUARD MOSTERT AT BATHURST 1000

30 | 09 | 2015 - NAVY HEALTH TO GUARD MOSTERT AT BATHURST 1000

Prodrive Racing (Australia)'s Chaz Mostert will receive additional backing from Navy Health at this year's Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 as the Defence Force health insurance provider increases its support of the 2014 Bathurst Champion for the upcoming Great Race.

The long-time personal sponsor of Mostert has extended its support to the team; signing a new deal that will see them situated on the front guards of the #6 Pepsi Max Ford for the remainder of the 2015 season.

Mostert, an Honorary Lieutenant in the Navy, is thrilled to see his long-time partnership with Navy Health extended to the team once again after appearing on the rear windscreen banner of his car at Darwin.

"It's great that Navy Health have become part of the team again. They already do a fantastic job of looking after me personally but to have them on the car protecting those front guards that saw a bit of damage in last year's Bathurst is great," said Mostert.

"They've been great team to be a part of and have done a fantastic job looking after Defence Force families over the years, including mine, so it's great that they're developing a strong relationship with the team as well. There's still a long way to go in the season so it'll be great to have their support."

The CEO of Navy Health, Ron Wilson believes relationships are key to success in any business.

"Chaz is a dedicated ambassador of Navy Health and to see him progress from a young talented driver to one that is now fighting it out at the top, provides us with a great deal of pride and satisfaction, knowing that we have helped each other achieve success over the past few years," he said.

"Navy Health’s ongoing success can be attributed to the relationships we have built and Chaz is a cornerstone of that. We look forward to furthering our relationships through the sponsorship with
PRA and riding with Chaz on his attempt at back-to-back Bathurst 1000s and possibly a V8 Supercar championship.”

Navy Health is a not-for-profit health insurer for members of the wider Defence community, providing the service since 1955.

Membership eligibility extends to families of serving/ex-serving personnel and employees of companies that have a relationship with the Department of Defence (most people are eligible to join).
